OKashi is the Oregons Green brand of bokashi, a Japanese term meaning “fermented organic matter.” Using a mixture of wheat bran and rice hulls as the carrier, we hand mix small batches of fermented OKashi with pro-biotics orĀ effective microorganisms. EM farming has been utilized for hundreds of thousands of years by Korean and Japanese cultures to enhance their crops and renew the spent soil.
